Engraving by hand is almost
a lost art. It is one of the most beautiful ways of enhancing a piece of jewelry
or an award. The reason why hand engraving is so rare today is the cost. Hand engraving is
very time-consuming. Plus, an engraver of great skill has trained long and hard to develop
his/her acumen at custom engraving. Our master hand engraver, Mark Lofgren, has
done just that. He first apprenticed under Sidney Bovee in 1978, when he was beginning his
career. Mark toiled under Sidney's tutelage and worked hard to earn the right to replace
Sidney upon his retirement. As a matter of fact, Mark has continued to best his own
abilities in order to earn himself the reputation as one of the leading hand engravers in
the Midwest.
When only the very best will do, there is no substitute for the beauty and attention
to detail that hand engraving provides.
Let us hand engrave your: fine silver heirlooms, estate jewelry, signet rings, trays,
bowls, trophies, lighters and money clips.
